Refund Policy

1. Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions purchased for Secretly ("the Service"), including Pro, Pro+, and Enterprise plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the terms outlined below.
2. Free Tier
The Secretly free tier requires no payment and no credit card. You can try the core features of Secretly with 10 lifetime AI responses at no cost and no commitment. We encourage all users to start with the free tier before subscribing.
3. No-Refund Policy
All subscription payments are non-refundable. Once a payment has been processed for a billing period (monthly or annual), we do not offer full or partial refunds for:
- Unused time remaining in your billing period after cancellation.
- Downgrading from a higher-tier plan to a lower-tier plan.
- Dissatisfaction with the Service or AI response quality.
- Failure to use the Service during your billing period.
- Incompatibility with your system configuration.
This is why we offer a free tier — so you can evaluate Secretly before committing to a paid subscription.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Secretly account dashboard (powered by Paddle). When you cancel:
- Your subscription remains active with full access to all paid features until the end of your current billing period.
- No further charges will be made after the current billing period ends.
- After the billing period expires, your account automatically reverts to the free tier.
- No refund is issued for the remaining days in your current billing period.
5. Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are billed as a single payment for the full year. If you cancel an annual subscription mid-term, you retain access until the end of the 12-month period. No partial refund is issued for the remaining months.
Annual subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each 12-month period. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time before the renewal date.
6. Exceptional Circumstances
In rare cases, we may consider refund requests at our sole discretion for:
- Duplicate charges caused by a billing error on our end.
- Extended service outages (more than 72 consecutive hours) that prevent you from using core features.
To request a review under exceptional circumstances, contact us at support@secretly.app within 14 days of the charge in question. Include your account email and a description of the issue.
7. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card company instead of contacting us first, we reserve the right to suspend your account immediately and permanently. We encourage you to reach out to us directly at support@secretly.app to resolve any billing concerns.
8. Merchant of Record
All payments for Secretly are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. For billing inquiries, subscription management, or payment-related support, you may also contact Paddle directly at https://paddle.net.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Changes do not apply retroactively to charges made before the update.
